Since 2001, garage has been engaged in radio and radio art. Starting from the
festival topic “between sound and image” then dealing especially with
ways of communication and presentation of radio art, radio has
interested us mainly as possible access point to the public space and the
evolving relationship and dynamics between sender and receiver /
auditorium: radio art as promoter for new artistic, social and political
thoughts aside from institutionalised broadcasting services.
The conference for radio art, taking place within the festival for the
third time, will be opened in collaboration with Racio_C with an evening
of presentation of new radio projects and performances.
